There are many special tools that lifeguards use to fulfill their job

Lifeguards use many different types of equipment to accomplish their everyday tasks. One of the essential items that they use is a high or tall chair. They would need to be able to see the whole area that they are patrolling, so they can spot any type of potential dangers that might cause harm to the environment or people.

Other tools that lifeguards use are whistles and megaphones. The lifeguards need to be loud and clear so that they can inform the person that is in danger. Sometimes lifeguards would also need to get the attention of some people, so they can get safely away from danger or prevent it from happening.

One of the most important things that lifeguards use are floating devices. Anything that is less dense than water or is buoyant is able to float. For example, coolers, ropes, or poles are able to be used as floatation devices when needed. These floating devices can save a person that is drowning and need assistance. The lifeguard would just throw the object into the water and tell the victim to grab on.

FOB- Facts of the Blog:

There is a procedure that every single lifeguard has to follow. Every time they rescue someone, or maybe there is a major incident, they would have to record it. This is for safety precaution, so that they can prevent it from happen later, or so that future lifeguards can learn more about it.
